Diet for ASD/ADHD

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is becoming more and more prevalent here in Australia as well as abroad. Just like any other person, a child with autism might suffer gastritis, GERD, colitis, IBS, constipation, motility based disorders, food allergies and sensitivities and overgrowth.

In a recent study, 70% of children with ASD had GI issues. There are many behaviour likes with gut health.

Working with the doctor to test for zinc, B-6, iron, vitamin D, omega 3, magnesium deficiencies. Targeted nutrient therapy is often needed to repair deficiencies.

Improving the diet of children with ASD is of vital importance.
